Cantilevered out over a greened hillside on the Southeast Peninsula’s western edge, reservation-only Orchid Bay is akin to a private dining experience. The newest addition to St. Kitts’ upscale restaurant scene, their Italian family-style dinner concept brings a grande slice of la dolce vita to the island. Olive oil is harvested from the restaurant’s family-owned groves, Italian pours (priced at $75 a bottle) dominate the wine list and pastas like Butternut Squash-filled Agnolotti are homemade. Even the alfresco restaurant’s Caesar salad’s sourdough croutons are baked in-house! Be sure to leave room for their Pistachio-Sprinkled Cannoli – one of two Sicilian-inspired desserts served.
